If you need a reliable contract electronics manufacturer for PCB assembly, cable assembly, electro-mechanical assembly, panel build, cabinet integration or full product build, Nitronica is based in Ballynahinch, Co. Down, ready to take on your project.
We work with OEM customers across Northern Ireland, Great Britain, the Republic of Ireland, Europe and USA. Whether you have a straightforward assembly requirement or a complex, regulated-sector build, get in touch, and we will talk it through.
Northern Ireland gives us a position most UK manufacturers cannot offer: unrestricted access to both the GB market and the EU single market. If your supply chain crosses borders, that is worth a conversation.

Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly will Nitronica respond to an enquiry?
We aim to respond to all enquiries within one business day. Our office hours are Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If you contact us outside these hours, we will pick up your enquiry on the next working day. For straightforward PCB assembly or cable assembly quotations, where you can supply a BOM and relevant technical files, we can often provide an initial indication quickly. For more complex projects (full product builds, cabinet integration, or multi-service programmes), we will suggest a call to go through the scope before preparing a formal quote.
What information do I need to provide to get a PCB assembly quote?
For a PCB assembly quotation, the most useful documents to share are your bill of materials (BOM), Gerber files or CAD data, and any applicable assembly drawings. If you have an IPC class requirement (typically Class 2 for commercial or Class 3 for high-reliability and regulated sectors), please specify this. Volume and target delivery timeframes also help us assess what approach suits your project. If you do not have all of this ready, contact us anyway. We can work through what is needed together and help you structure the enquiry correctly.
Does Nitronica work with low-volume and prototype requirements?
Yes. We accommodate low, medium, and high volumes across our service lines. This includes one-time prototype builds, call-off schedules, and regular scheduled production runs. Many of our customers start with a prototype or NPI batch and move into ongoing production as their product matures. If you are at the prototype stage and want to work with a manufacturer who can support you through to volume production, we are well placed to do that from our Ballynahinch facility.
Can Nitronica supply customers in both the UK and the Republic of Ireland?
Yes. Based in Northern Ireland, we have unrestricted access to the GB market and the ability to trade freely within the EU single market. This means we can supply GB-based OEMs and customers without the friction that offshore or Republic of Ireland manufacturers sometimes encounter with UK customs. Equally, we can supply directly to customers in the Republic of Ireland as part of their EU supply chain. For businesses managing cross-border supply, our location in Ballynahinch is a practical advantage that straightforward GB or RoI manufacturers cannot replicate.
What quality certifications does Nitronica hold?
Nitronica is certified to ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management. Our PCB assembly work is inspected to IPC 610 Class 2 or 3 workmanship standards. Cable assembly is carried out to IPC 620. We use inline automated optical inspection on PCB assemblies, and continuity testing and hi-pot testing on cable assemblies. If your sector or customer requires specific quality documentation or certification evidence, contact us and we will confirm what we can provide.
