The staff at Nitronica recently held a fundraising day in support of local care homes, amidst the Covid-19 crisis.
The day involved staff bringing in donations towards hampers, and a quiz and guess the baby competition of some familiar Nitronica faces! The money raised from the day went towards PPE for the staff in at 5 local care/nursing homes.
Support for local care homes has never been as needed than it has been today, in this current situation. We’d just like to thank all of the carers in our community for the outstanding jobs they continue to do during this crisis. The donations raised by the staff at Nitronica were greatly received by:
- The Beeches Residential Home
- Oakridge Care Home
- Annahilt Care Home
- Spa Nursing Home
- Redburn Nursing Home
One message from Oakridge Care Home read: “Thank you so much for your very kind hamper and also kind cash donation, people are really so kind and we do appreciate it greatly. Can you please pass on our thanks to all the staff at Nitronica and how much we appreciate their kindness. Thanks again.”
