PCB Assembly

Nitronica has steadily strengthened its capability and capacity for PCB assembly and this is now one of the fastest growing areas of the business. The company has recently invested in a new fully RoHS compliant line utilising a Europlacer Vitesse pick and place machine capable of 20,000 placement per hour along with in line Flying Probe and AOI equipment. This means that all levels of SMT technology can be accommodated including BGA and micro BGA. The emphasis is on flexibility and fast turnaround to reduce cost and lead times.  

Nitronica continues to specialise in Plated Through Hole (PTH) PCBAs using mainly automated processes such as a 140 station universal sequencer along with Universal DIP and axial inserters. 

All operators are trained to industry standards set by IPC and use dedicated Metcal soldering irons for manual soldering.  

Nitronica operates a Teradyne In-Circuit Test (ICT) unit, Flying Probe fixtureless testing and in line AOI systems to complement all the functional test developments that can be offered as part of our manufacturing solution.
