Nitronica's highly qualified management team has many years of experience and extensive knowledge of electronics manufacturing. The totally committed and close knit team provides clear direction and motivation for the rest of the company to follow.
John Mellon – Managing Director
Formerly a Financial Controller at Viasystems EMS for a period of five years, John was appointed Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Nitronica in October 2002. John has an Honours degree from Queen’s University Belfast and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Accounting from the University of Ulster. Now a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, John has an impressive management history with companies such as Ulster Weavers Apparel, Ulster Engineering Ltd and Holt-Lloyd Ltd (then a subsidiary of Morgan Crucible Plc).
Neil Harvey – New Products, Supply Chain and Customer Service Director
Neil graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 1989 with a BEng (Hons) in Manufacturing Engineering and is currently studying for a Masters in Corporate Management with the University of Napier. As a qualified ISO9000 Lead Assessor, Neil’s expertise lies in business improvement, having held a number of managerial posts in Quality Engineering with companies such as FG Wilson. Neil has now worked for the company for almost 10 years.
Seamus Mooney – Operations Director
Seamus has a BEng (Hons) degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Ulster. Having started work at the factory in 1989 as a Production Engineer and progressing up through Engineering and Manufacturing Management, Seamus now leads the operations team. Seamus has gained vast experience having worked under the many large company owners that the site has seen and has been instrumental in the site being approved for ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001.
John Hutchinson – Sales and Marketing Director
John, a graduate from Sheffield University, joined Nitronica having been Director of Business Development for Viasystems. Over the past 20 years John has held senior sales positions for component manufacturers, CEM’s and OEM’s; companies such as Nortel Networks, Kyocera and Dage. He therefore brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from within the electronics manufacturing industry. John has an exceptional record of new business development throughout his career to date.
Brian Getty– Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors
Formerly Managing Director of Getty Connections, Brian has more than 35 years experience gained in the electronics industry, working for blue chip companies as well as running his own successful business. He is an invaluable asset to Nitronica’s management team for his input to strategic decision-making.
